This is a beginner level project where you will learn basic basketry terminology and techniques. The basket features a sturdy wooden bottom, natural and dyed reeds and an oak handle. Instructor brings each student a kit containing all the materials needed to complete the basket. 
 
Participants should bring scissors, an old towel, 12-15 clothespins, and a thin letter opener or a small screwdriver.
